The Report Scheduler requires a subscription tier with Report Scheduler access. To discuss the addition of the Report Scheduler option, please reach out to your vendor engagement manager
Use the Report Scheduler to modify the following properties of an existing scheduled job:
- Change the date/time/frequency
- Change the recipients
- Change the output format (for example, from CSV to Excel XLS)
- Set an expiry date
Note: The Report Scheduler should not be used to schedule CIP reports. Please use the File > Schedule menu to schedule your initial report.
1. From the Admin menu, select Scheduler
2. Select the Existing Scheduled Jobs tab
3. Double-click the Job ID of the job to modify
4. Review the current job details and click Change Job Details
5. Change the job details as desired and click Save Changes when finished
Explanation of options
Name
The "friendly name" for the scheduled job. A non-unique string that can consist of up to a maximum of 50 characters, including spaces. The job name will be displayed in the scheduled email
Querytext
The Macro Language code to run, if an existing saved query is not specified
Recipients
A space-separated list of valid 1010data usernames (this field is pre-populated with your own username)
Note: There is no limit to the number of recipients of a scheduled report
Frequency
How often the job will be run
Note: The schedule is not affected by daylight savings time, regardless of time zone
Note: Execution may not always occur at the exact time specified, depending on the schedule queue and available resources
Date Range
The start and end dates for the job to run. You may also specify 'no end date' for the job to run indefinitely
Output
The format of the report. Available options:
- Excel
- CSV
- NONE
You may also specify if a recipient must log in to retrieve the download
Advanced
The email addresses to send notifications if a job fails to complete within a certain amount of time. Multiple email addresses may be specified, separated by a space
The Gateway Version may also be specified here. If a Gateway Version is not set, the default is the version of 1010data the user is configured to use; if there is no version configured for the user, the default is the version of 1010data the user's company is configured to use
